According to Oxfam's, the international confederation of charitable organizations, latest report, the following 8 people own wealth worth the astronomical figure of $426.2 billion.

The politician, philanthropist, and author Michael Bloomberg has made a fortune of $40 billion. He is mainly known as the founder of the “Bloomberg” news agency and as the 108th mayor of New York City. Mr. Bloomberg is also known for his generous donations to the field of education, which have already exceeded a billion dollars.

Larry Ellison, chairman in the Board of Directors for the “Oracle” company and outstanding entrepreneur, admits that when he founded his company, he just wanted to create an environment in which he could enjoy working. Well, $43.6 billion is an excellent ‘side effect’ of his initial goal!

He is not only an acclaimed entrepreneur, but also a kindhearted man: he spent more than $28 billion on charity from 1994 to 2010.
